Willie Rocks Caseville Michigan - Again'
“June has quickly become the month that Willie and the boys look forward to.” 2010 was the 2nd time, and the 2nd annual Caseville Country Ribstock festival featuring Willie.
"Caseville is the perfect venue," says Willie. With sandy beaches, boat and jet ski rentals, camping, fishing, great food, and loud music, it's a fun time.
2009 was the first annual Ribstock Festival and the crowd seemed to be a little surprised by the music the organizers brought in. Caseville is known for being a Jimmy Buffet town from their famous Cheeseburger in Caseville festival they hold every year. Country music is not really a big change from Jimmy, but the crowd seemed to really enjoy it.
The impression Willie and the boys left on the crowd was not really known until this years encore performance. The hill in the park was packed from one end to the other, and they were there early for the show. Every song was followed by a deafening roar of the crowd, and as the night continued it just got louder.
The event was a success and Willie is already booked for June of 2011. If you miss this show you are purposely avoiding a great time. See ya next year!
